How it Works
Dri-Lex® technology's mastery over perspiration comes from its hydrophobic (moisture-hating) polyester and hydrophilic (moisture-loving) nylon. This combination creates a 2-Zone Comfort Lining® resulting in a push-pull effect that deploys perspiration to rapidly dry away from skin.
Any fabric supplier can mix fiber, yarn and construction properties to engineer different features into fabrics. Only Dri-Lex® has this special hydrophilic nylon moisture control fiber. These properties are not due to fabric or fiber treatments, and won't wear or wash out as they are completely "built-in" for maximum performance. That's why there’s only one Dri-Lex®.
Dri-Lex® is engineered into a variety of products with differing performance features to address the products end-use. No matter what the application—a Dri-Lex® product will always manage all the moisture generated by the specific area of the body it covers— keeping its surface dry and comfortable.

Dri-Lex History
Dri-Lex History
After 5 years in development, Faytex Corp. introduced Dri-Lex® in 1988. It "cut its teeth" working to tame the body's biggest "sweat hogs"; the feet. (With over 125,000 sweat glands in each foot, active feet can produce up to 8 ounces of moisture per day.) It was a milestone. Feet had never had this level of perspiration management — and the resulting comfort. Millions of happy feet later, wonders never cease.
Over the last eighteen years we've further enhanced this technology and introduced it in over 30 different products. They may differ in touch, texture and appearance but they all have one thing in common—the superior moisture management of Dri-Lex® technology.
